How The ‘War on Terror’ Mentality Has Relieved Us Of Common Sense

It would seem that in our rush to fight this so-called “war on terror,” we’ve been entirely relieved of any common sense.

I wrote not too long ago on the 4 year old terrorist that the TSA successfully thwarted in Wichita.

But that was mere child’s play compared to what I’m about to tell you about (and yes, there was a small pun intended there).

Joel McDurmon, writing for American Vision News, tells us about Nancy Genovese, who found herself being labeled a terrorist.

This mother of three, who stopped on the side of the road to take some still pictures of a decorative helicopter display outside of an airport, later found herself questioned for hours, detained, verbally and physically abused, placed on “suicide watch,” and publicly humiliated.

She was called a “right winger” and “teabagger.” She was charged a $50,000 bail.

Ultimately, all charges against her were dropped. She is now suing, seeking up to 70 million dollars, against several named parties. The lawsuit is ongoing.

All because this lady stopped on the side of the road to take some pictures of a helicopter.
