Growing up on 50 acres with a family of 5 boys and nary a sister would make any girl a tomboy; I was no exception. Although I was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, I’d probably call Bedford County, VA my hometown – where I have fond memories of roaming the woods, splashing in the creeks, climbing trees, blazing trails, climbing 10′ garden fences, building forts and shooting our pellet gun and .22 rifle with my brothers. And hearing the pellet zip through the blackberry bushes when you totally missed the target – part of being cross-dominant and not knowing it. 😉
Today, I’m an avid supporter of preserving and daily using my 2nd Amendment rights, but I’ve also got a positively feminine fling – I enjoy cooking, baking, sewing, babysitting, hanging out with my girlfriends, watching a good period romance movie (such as Pride & Prejudice) and other such girly pastimes. I can also enjoy a run on the beach, hiking nearby mountains, shooting at the range with my brothers, biking around my county or a game of Cops’n’Robbers with a bunch of 5 year-olds. Kids make everything in life brighter and more fun. 🙂
I’m a proud Virginian who is American by birth and Southern by the grace of God.

“Gun control means being able to hit your target. If I have a ‘hot button’ issue, this is definitely it. Don’t even think about taking my guns. My rights are not negotiable, and I am totally unwilling to compromise when it comes to the Second Amendment.”
